The Day After Easter

Hey there! I'm back and sooo relaxed after an amazing Easter holiday. I've been firmly placed in my new sun chair on our balcony every day enjoying, the sun and eating juicy watermelon. It's been perfect and just what I needed. I've also been to an Easter lunch/egg hunt at my in-laws' which was a lot of fun, AND my fiancé made a special egg-hunt just for me at home, where I had to find a big hidden egg and hints all over the appartment. So sweet! Now I have to get back to reality, but thankfully my reality is pretty amazing, and I'm so lucky to be one of those people who enjoy what they do for a living. Today I after work I went shopping with my friend and had a great time. It's nice to spend time with people who's company you really enjoy. I'll leave you now for a night of couch potato-ing with my fiancé watching episodes of some of our current favorite TV shows.

Easter Dreaming

Last year my fiancé and I made a cute little flash game called Easter Dreaming, featuring a little bunny who's collecting Easter Eggs. It was our prototype so it's not the best game or anything, but it's still very cute if you're looking for a little pastel Easter fun. Try it out here.

Funny Little Bunnies

It's Easter here in Denmark so I thought I'd share something in the spirit of Easter that I really loved as a kid. It's a very cute Disney Silly Symphony. I know it all by heart as I've seen it so many times. I loved the Silly Symphonies and my mom used to tape them for me to watch over and over again. This was one of my favorites and I hope you'll enjoy it!

Pastries in Prague

Last April and this Christmas my boyfriend and I went to Prague and were really taken in by the gorgeous architecture, lovely weather and ESPECIALLY their wonderful local pastry called trdlo or trdelnik. Apparently it means “crazy” bread. It’s sweet bread dipped in toasted almonds and sugar then heated on metal pipes. The blog Gastronomy Domine illustrates it very well. It was a really delicious snack and I just couldn’t stop eating them. I even bought one the last day there and had it for breakfast the day after we arrived home in Copenhagen. Trdlo could be found at the lovely Easter or Christmas markets that were scattered all over central Prague and the small stalls had huge styrofoam trdlo’s hanging from the roofs as signs. It was really lovely and it was perfect for the holiday season. I'll write more about Prague later but for now I'll leave you with pictures of this delicious pastry.
