Back from LA!

I'm back from the most amazing two week holiday in sunny Los Angeles, California! It was everything I hoped it would be and more. I've fallen head over heels in love with this wonderful city and my heart aches to go back and enjoy the sunshine, fluffy palm trees and have fun with all the amazing people there. I've had a blast and shopped so hard I could barely get my suitcases on the plane. I have so much to share and tons of pictures just waiting to be uploaded. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do it this weekend as I can hardly wait to show you all the different things I've seen and experienced. Yay LA!

Pure Indulgence

I've been trying to give in to most of my guilty pleasures lately and so far it's really paying off and I'm in a great mood because of it. Today I went shopping again with a friend, had a decadent warm apple pie, paged through the gorgeous Japanese Vogue, and watched my current girl show, Pretty Little Liars. It's like a modern day Twin Peaks and I just can't get enough of it. My advice for today: give into your guilty pleasures once in a while, and be sure to get some me-time even though you might have a hectic schedule and busy home life.

Evil Eye

I went shopping today with one of my best buddies, and bought sooo many goodies that I can't wait to post, including pastel purple skinny jeans, new cut-offs and summery tops. I also did a little online shopping on eBay and this unique little Evil Eye necklace is now on it's way. Can't wait!

I'm gasping for air while browsing the new DI$COUNT online superstore. I mean OMFG! The things on here are gorgeous, detailed, raw punk rock amazing! If you haven't checked it out already, hurry over here as almost everything is one of a kind and selling out fast.

Spanish Moss Goodies

A lot of genious stuff has been happening on one of my favorite shopping sites Spanish Moss lately and I'm really exited about it. I found some perfect pieces the other day but was too late to buy them and I could just kick myself for being so slow. Anyway, here are pics from their new website and lookbook as well as some older pics.

Supermarket Sarah

I love vintage shopping, the hunt for that perfect unique item that just stands out and fits you perfectly. Going through racks of clothing, tables full of mixed jewelry, and finding that hidden treasure is just about as good as it gets when it comes to shopping. That's why I love browsing the walls of Supermarket Sarah. There's tons of stuff to go through but it's all nicely arranged on a wall with fun themes, AND it's digital and you can do it without ever leaving the couch. Go have a look and see what hidden gems you might find.

Into the Dressing Room

I found a few pics on my iPhone of me trying on stuff, and pics of some of my favorite finds that I had to leave behind for one reason or another. I thought I'd share them with you as a little inspirational shopping post.

Cute stuff from Dorothy Perkins. I loved their summer colors and boho items. I bought a cute pink top there but I'll show you that later.

Rad top I found in Topshop. It didn't quite fit my body though. Too bad.

I feel head over heels in love with this vintage reworked leather jacket and it was so hard for me to leave it behind. It was too heavy for me and too big, but oh my gosh how I loved it.

I tried on tons of these Ragged Priest reworked tie dye pieces but they were all either huge on me or way too small. I might try making something like this myself if I can get my hands on some dye. Any tips on where to get it?

Cool boho bag at Miss Selfridge.

Here's me enjoying my favorite Honey Peach bubble tea in China Town. I already miss it.

Back from London

I just spent 4 days this week exploring/shopping in London with my wonderful fiancé. The trip was a gift from him to celebrate our 6-year anniversary, and since we both love London it was the perfect setting for the day. We went to new exciting places and revisited the ones we know and love. One thing that really annoyed me though was people telling me I wasn't allowed to take pictures whenever I pulled out my camera. It happened all the time, even outside shops. It seems really wrong to me. Anyway, I can't wait to share pics of my loot with you guys! Here's a few photos to start you off  from our first day there.

The color blocking trend was everywhere in London. I even bought a few things myself to brighten up my wardrobe.

Cute fringy boho bags in Accessorize.

Draped hair in the Royal Opera House. Quite stunning when you see it in real life.

Very nice toystore owner that I just had to photograph. His store was really wonderful and quirky.

Vintage jewelry and china at Covent Garden.

Yummy cakes at the Primrose Bakery. The girls there were really nice and let me take as many photos as I liked.

Cute little cupcake soaps that had delightful scents. I bought a bunch to put on my desk.
